Reviews and Ratings
I had a really pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were comfortable, spacious, and spotlessly clean, perfect for what we needed. However, there were some minor issues like lacking information about the coffee machine pods and using the TVs. The service was great, with friendly housekeeping and a nice welcome drink. The location was fairly convenient for exploring Whitby, and I loved being just a few minutes walk from The Pavillion. The dining experience was exceptional with plenty of choices, though a power cut affected food availability. Overall, the hotel offers a good value for money.
I had a lovely stay at the hotel. The rooms were modern, clean, and well-equipped, but there were some issues with noise at times. The location was great, offering a unique atmosphere with good dining options. The dining experience was decent overall. The facilities were satisfactory.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were fantastic, especially the new ensuite bathroom with a harbor view. The staff at breakfast were incredibly accommodating, and the location was perfect for exploring the town. I even got a scratch card for parking, which was a great bonus.
The hotel rooms were comfortable and clean with everything needed, although the heat in the corridor outside made it warm at night. Breakfast was very nice, but a bit more fried bread would have been appreciated. On the bright side, the room had a four-poster bed, a whirlpool bath with a TV, and a lovely view of the Abbey.
The hotel is located in a busy area, but it was very good. The rooms were modern, tidy, a good size, and very clean. The service, including housekeeping and welcome drink, was top-notch. The location was very nice, just a few minutes walk down to the heart of Whitby, offering great views of the sea, abbey, and harbor from our lovely room and with local parking on a first-come basis. The dining was excellent with good quality ingredients, but there was a miss in terms of variety. Overall, a great value for money stay.
The hotel offers spacious and comfortable rooms with stunning views of the abbey and church on the opposite cliff. The breakfast is a delightful experience with a wonderful view over the rooftops. The staff is exceptional and goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable, including a thoughtful welcome drink.
